I had this conedome(apparently) on the right side of my lip, on the vermillion border since november (over 3 months). It was really small, you could only see it if i opened up my mouth wide. Two doctors told me it was a conedome (whitehead).

Anyways, yesterday I was putting lots of benzyl peroxide on it and I think i mustve irritated it because it became inflamed and red. It then filled itself up with white puss. It was a big whitehead on my vermilion border.

So I went to a walk in clinic to have it checked, and the doctor quickly said it was a cold sore (well looked like it)

Then I went to the STD clinic, well known in the city, and the doctor quickly told me it wasn't. I guess I should believe the STD clinic one. I asked her if she could swab it or something but she kept sayin it wasnt a cold sore and the main reason was it had white puss and cold sores dont have white puss, instead they have clear puss. White puss indicates its acne. Its really been on my vermilion border for 3 months, at a smaller state though, so I don't think its a cold sore based on that as well.

Do you guys concur?
